Separate art from artists

Image
Are artist really that much depressed, lunatic, abnormal person just like their art???   "The term 'Artist' and 'Art' often evoke comments, with some linking the artist's personal traits to their work. For instance, Van Gogh's art is sometimes viewed through the lens of his depression. Similarly, Dostoevsky and Kafka are seen as reflecting their own melancholy in their writings. However, art is not always a direct reflection of the artist's behaviour . Writers, for example, may exaggerate or draw inspiration from various sources to create compelling fiction. Just because Dostoevsky wrote about a murderer doesn't mean he shared that trait. As he was in prison, he had an opportunity to communicate with prison people and their experiences. A famous painting of Vincent Von Gogh, looks sad, isn’t it ? Of course only the painting is!!! He isn’t sad always.
